They say the world's on fire
We spoke about it today
You said youre not even sure if the climate is going to change anyway.
\I looked at you in disgust because I dont know what I saw in there.
Apart from the lack of an empathetic stare.

We're gonna have to let go of the life and the things we crave.
Or we can dig in deep until humanity is laid in the grave.
Knowing that we're going to Hell, but we're hoping itll be ok.
I dont understand whats standing in the way.

We're going to choke.
We're going to burn.
We're killing the only place in the whole damn universe.
Should we beg and plead to the ones that hold
the power to pass on a healthy living world.

We're the only generation
who could do something to survive the situation.
As it stands we're queuing up for our own extinction.
Controlled by money so we're wilfully ignorant.
The end of Capitalism and unprecedented change
Are the only way

We're going to choke.
We're going to burn.
We're killing the only place in the whole damn universe.
Should we beg and plead to the ones that hold
the power to pass on a healthy living world.

To deny there is a problem is either selfish or stupid,
are you lining up your pockets or not overly lucid?
Are you one of those people who just dont care
well tell that to your children and the children of theirs.
Because the world that they will live in will be barren and dry.
Or therell be floods fires & hurricanes and the reason why
is that we couldnt be bothered, what a pathetic excuse.
Shame on the human race for our over use.
To think we have solutions but theyre just too expensive,
when money is a concept that the humans invented
We're staring down the barrel of a loaded gun
the tipping point is coming and there's nowhere to run
Im sorry if its news to you we've got to accept this
that life must change dramatically if we're going to fix this.
Or our grandchildren will die starving drowning and burned,
knowing all the while the chances that their grandparents spurned.

Is noone scared?
Im so scared
Why is there
No hope there
Is this the end?
